With nearly twenty years of consulting experience, Matt is a Managing Principal with Gallagher’s Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice, and manages the consulting team in the Chicago area. Matt has extensive experience in the strategy, analysis and design of compensation programs across a wide array of industries.
Throughout his consulting career, his attention to detail, analytic approach, and vast industry knowledge has been an asset to the organization and provided clients with strategic solutions to meet their business objectives. He works with Board of Directors, executive leadership, and human resources departments providing expert guidance, research, and analytics to help them build HR capabilities in their organizations.
In addition to his extensive background in compensation, Matt works with clients on incentive program design, FLSA audits, job evaluation, workforce planning, performance management, retention strategies, and a variety of other human resources topics.
Matt has provided compensation expertise in industries such as health care, manufacturing, financial services, life sciences, credit unions, energy, construction, third-party logistics, aerospace, and higher education.
Matt has recently been featured at several conferences speaking on variety of topics including Returns on Talent Investment, Navigating a Dynamic Labor Market, Total Rewards Trends, Human Resources Metrics, and Generational Integration in the Workforce from a Total Rewards Perspective.
Matt received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois @ Urbana – Champaign and his Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources.
