Kevin Loeffler is a Senior Consultant with the Physician Services practice of Integrated Healthcare Strategies, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. Mr. Loeffler’s work is dedicated to helping clients better align their physician compensation systems, improve the financial performance of the physicians’ practice, and ensure regulatory compliance. His areas of focus include the audit, design, and implementation of physician compensation models, market research and surveys, total compensation compliance audits, practice operational improvement, and performance management system redesign.
Mr. Loeffler is actively involved in the development and implementation of compensation strategies for physicians in administrative positions, including identifying appropriate benchmarks, developing and/or refining medical directorship programs, and ensuring appropriate oversight of such programs.
His client base is national in scope and includes large multispecialty clinics, integrated healthcare systems, stand-alone hospitals, prestigious academic medical centers, and children’s hospitals.
Prior to becoming a Consultant, Mr. Loeffler was a Compensation Analyst within the Physician Services practice, where he was the primary analyst for the annual Gallagher Integrated Medical Director Survey and Advanced Practice Clinician Survey. He also specialized in compensation model simulations and testing for regulatory compliance, managed and maintained the Gallagher Integrated physician and non-physician provider proprietary database, and created and updated analysis tools and templates for the practice.
Mr. Loeffler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Winona State University and is currently completing his Master’s of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
